Jeffrey M. Solomon, DDS
Dr. Solomon delivers comprehensive dental care for total oral wellness. He enjoys getting to know his patients and providing the exemplary service they deserve. People of all ages have depended on Dr. Solomon's skill and experience for beautiful smiles and whole-mouth health.
He received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his DDS from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. An avid learner, Dr. Solomon continues to hone his skills through postgraduate study and has completed courses in CEREC (one visit porcelain crowns and restorations), Invisalign (invisible braces), sedation dentistry (dentistry while you sleep), cosmetic dentistry, head and neck pain, TMJ disorders, endodontics (root canal therapy), and total patient care and comfort techniques.
His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.
Family Life and Personal Interests
Dr. Solomon lives in Franklin with his wife Michelle and daughter Zoe. Some of his many interests include physical fitness, spin biking, weight lifting, and playing squash and tournament tennis. Dr. Solomon is also a foodie, and he loves taking his family to new and different restaurants around the country. Additionally, Dr. Solomon loves to travel with his family, participate in outdoor activities, and just kick back and relax with his daughter.
Robert R. Lokar, DDS, MS
Dr. Lokar is a licensed Orthodontist in the State of Michigan and has been practicing in SE Michigan for over thirty years. He graduated from University of Detroit with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree and was honored with membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon (Dental Honor Society). He earned his master’s degree in Orthodontics during a two year residency program at Loyola University in Chicago and again graduated with honors.
Over the past 30 years, Dr. Lokar has excelled as a practitioner, inventor, innovator, lecturer, and writer in the field of modern orthodontics. Additionally, Dr. Lokar currently maintains a position as an Associate Professor of Orthodontics at the University Of Detroit Mercy Dental School in the graduate orthodontic program.
While concentrating his efforts on treating patients throughout southeastern Michigan, Dr. Lokar is also teaching and completing his term on the board of the Michigan Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Lokar has been highly sought after as a lecturer throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. He speaks frequently to other orthodontists around the globe on the latest technological advancements in patient treatment, many of which he has helped to develop.

George Westphalen, DDS
“I take pride in practicing dentistry and making my patients comfortable from treatment plan to completion. It truly is a team effort, which is why I enjoy working with my patients to come up with treatment that is in line with their goals. Seeing it all come full circle is why I do what I do.”
Dr. George Westphalen was born and raised in Southern California but completed his undergrad in the Midwest at Michigan State University, where he played Volleyball for the Spartans. After receiving a degree in Human Physiology, he moved to San Francisco to attend the University of the Pacific Dental School and practiced there until recently when he made the move back home. When he's not in the office, you can usually find Dr. Westphalen enjoying the sunshine, playing/watching sports and spending time with his wife, Leah and chocolate lab, Brinkley.
Dr. Diana Whittaker
Diana Whittaker, D.D.S. joined our team after moving from Grayling, MI where she practiced for 6 years. She believes in treating patients with care, compassion and gentle touch. She always explains treatment options so that patients understand and can be an active participant in determining their course of action. Dr. Whittaker provides root canal treatment, extractions, implant placement and restoration as well as all general dentistry services.
Dr. Whittaker is originally from Massachusetts where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Boston College. In 2012, she received her degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Whittaker has since earned a certificate for Esthetic, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry from the University of Minnesota and Advanced Implant and Sinus Augmentation from the University of Michigan. She recently became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Whittaker was voted “Top Dentist in General Dentistry” in 2017 and 2018 and was a People’s Choice Awards winner in 2017. She was also a presenter at the International Academy of Dental Research in Miami, Florida. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Whittaker is married and has one son. She enjoys traveling, playing ice hockey and spending time with her family.
Attentive Office Manager
Jenn has worked in all areas of dentistry for the last 8 years. Her top priority is making sure each patient in our office receives five-star treatment at every visit. When Jenn is not working you can catch her at a farmer’s market, doing an organized run in a surrounding city, trying new restaurants downtown, traveling with her gal pals and most importantly spending time with her mom and older brother. Fun fact: She loves a good dad joke!
Dawn has been in dentistry since 1993. She is a graduate of Washtenaw Community College and Rochester College. She has also received a degree in Business Communications. Dawn is X-ray certified, and she has completed training in orthodontics, pedodontics, and periodontics at the University of Michigan. Dawn enjoys being part of a high-tech practice and prides herself on staying current with advances in dentistry. She values the opportunity to provide customized care that meets the unique needs of her patients. When not at work, Dawn likes to spend time with her family, participate in outdoor activities, attend sporting events, and travel.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Brittany has an Associates degree in Applied Science. She is passionate about providing exceptional dental care to her patients. She enjoys meeting new people and building relationships. Brittany also enjoys teaching and explaining in an understandable and approachable manner. She is married to John and together they have 4 children. She and her family live in Clawson.
Shada has been a Treatment Coordinator at Signature Smiles for several years. She is the best at figuring out arrangements for patients to get their treatment completed. One of her top priorities is making sure every patient has a wonderful experience at our office. Shada is currently finishing her bachelors degree at Oakland Community College. With her little free time, she tries to have some fun. Shanda enjoys salsa dancing, traveling, shopping (she has a shoe addiction) and reading! Come say hi!
Faye has been in the dental field since 1997 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from West Coast University in California. She finds great joy in meeting patients and providing them the highest level of care while making sure their visit is as comfortable as possible. Some of her many interests include playing the piano, drawing, and weightlifting. Additionally, she loves spending quality time with her husband Gene and their dog.
Gloria is a certified dental assistant for over 38 years. She loves making the patient feel comfortable. She is affectionately known as “Sweet Angel” by her peers. Gloria loves to sing in her church choir. She married the love of her life, Dwight. She has one daughter and a granddaughter Adrienne who just attended her Freshman year at Eastern University.
